Arboretum

Julia and I enjoyed some quality time together, along with Grammy and Papa, at the Dallas Arboretum. The weather was wonderful and the Arboretum was absolutely gorgeous! Thanks to my next-door neighbor Sarah for keeping Jackson so that I could enjoy this time truly focused on my daughter. Julia had a marvelous time looking at all the baby pumpkins, seeing Cinderella's carriage, getting her face painted, and simply getting to roam free in the outdoors.

A replica of Cinderella's carriage

Looking at all the face paints!

Of course she picked purple for her butterfly.  It's her absolute favorite color right now.

Dashing under the water

Flying and fluttering her wings like a butterfly

She was inside one of the replica castles, and I caught her through the window gazing up in admiration.

  1. SOOOOOOOO fun! That purple butterfly is absolutely PRECIOUS!!! My favorite pic is the one of her sitting on the pumpkins with that massively cute smile on her face! She looks (and y'all too) like she had a blast!
