Costume Day at School

Today was Costume Day at Julia's preschool. Parents were invited to join the kiddos during the "Pumpkin Patch" portion of class, which consisted of going outside for a class photo, picking out their own pumpkins, and getting a snack. In over 2 years of Julia attending Mother's Day Out/preschool, this was my first time to get to join her for a school activity!

This was her excited reaction and her genuine smile upon first seeing me, as I had purposefully kept it a secret that I would be joining her today.  "What are you doing here?," she asked.

Her class

Miss Tinkerbell

Friends, snacks and pretty dress up clothes - what more could a girl want?

Her closest friend at school, whom she talks about all the time.

The curlyheads!

  1. Such a beautiful girl, and that angle hair takes my breath away! She will always be the envy of the straight-headed girls in school! Love the pic of the two of you also.
